At the same time, I was deeply drawn to the world of Torah, spirituality, and the soul.
These two worlds, which may seem so far apart, have accompanied me ever since. Working with clay has become the place where they meet.
I want the pieces I create to bring more than beauty and practicality into a home. I hope they bring joy, simplicity, togetherness, light, and perhaps even a touch of holiness.
Like Jacob's ladder, standing firmly on the earth while reaching toward heaven, I hope that the vessels taking shape on my pottery wheel can become a small bridge between heaven and earth.
As I shape the clay with my hands, I pour into it intention, prayer, and a deep longing for connection.
My studio is nestled in Gvaot, a unique community in the Judean Hills where people with and without disabilities live side by side. Here, I create pieces that carry something of the earth, the landscapes, and the spirit of the Land of Israel.
My hope is that when a piece I have made finds its way into your home, it will bring not only a little of the beauty of this land, but also something of the warmth, love, and intention with which it was created.
